Course Objectives:

  • PPS-I is the foundational program in the series. It is designed for the busy student/professional who seeks authentic yet progressive Pilates education in a highly integrated format. PPS-I includes instruction on the mat, reformer and Cadillac for beginner through intermediate levels. Through action-oriented coaching, self-evaluation tools and concrete feedback, PPS-I prepares instructors to teach private sessions and small-group classes in a safe, effective and flowing workout.

Pre-Requisites:

  • A recognized qualification in anatomy and kinesiology either through a fitness certification or other course is highly recommended (mandatory for most students).
  • Highly recommended at least 20 hours Pilates training including classical mat and equipment classes
  • Completed registration and Peak approval.
  • Current CPR/First Aid Certificate or international equivalent (recommend)

Support Materials:

  • Peak Pilates’ materials will be provided by The Pilatestudio.
  • Visually rich, comprehensive manual
  • Instructor Education DVD breaking down the set-up, execution and flow of each exercise

Assessment:

  • Will be held separately about 12 weeks after the course.

Hour’s Breakdown:

  • First session – 4 days 8:00-17:30 second session 3 days 8:00-17:30 third session is assessment day. Total 58 contact hours.

Additional 100 Logged Hours:

  • Observation 20 hours (5 mat, 15 equipment)
  • Personal Practice 45 hours (10 mat, 35 equipment)
  • Teaching 35 hours (10 mat, 25 equipment)

Certification Requirements:

  • 100% Attendance
  • Passing score on all assessments
  • Submission of logged hours

Fee:

  • 79,000 Baht including study materials, assessment and free practice for three weeks at the studio.

Policies:

  • Minimum 4 participants to open the course
  • No refund or rescheduling after the start of the course
  • If registering 10 days prior to the beginning of the course (or less),  additional 10% charge will be levied for late registration
  • Materials are non-refundable when canceling
  • Rescheduling is not allowed

Cancelation policy:

  • If canceling 14 days before the beginning of the course (or more) 70% refund
  • If canceling 14 days before the start of the course (or less) 50% refund
